What changed recently
- GLOBAL2012 → 20212021-10-01
The 2021 guideline covered complement-mediated glomerular disease for the first time and incorporated newer targeted and immunosuppressive agents unavailable in 2012. For lupus nephritis it cut the cumulative intravenous methylprednisolone dose and moved to a lower, more rapidly tapered oral prednisone start.
