It addresses screening at healthcare encounters, referral for audiologic assessment, hearing aid fitting, and escalation to cochlear implant evaluation when amplification is insufficient, and notes associations between untreated hearing loss and other health outcomes. Published in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in 2024.
